Data Deletion Instructions

Request deletion of your personal data from MFU Verify

Important Notice

Deleting your data will permanently remove your verification status and you will no longer be marked as a verified MFU student. This action cannot be undone.

What Data We Store

When you use MFU Verify with Facebook Login, we collect and store:

  • Your Facebook User ID
  • Your name from Facebook
  • Your email address (if provided)
  • Your Instagram username
  • Verification status and timestamp
  • Student ID (if provided)

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to support@stellarion.studio with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Include in your email:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your Facebook account
  • Your Facebook User ID (if known)
  • Your Instagram username (if you remember it)

Option 2: Revoke Facebook App Access

You can also remove MFU Verify's access to your Facebook account:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings
  2. Click on Apps and Websites
  3. Find MFU Authentication in the list
  4. Click Remove

Note: This revokes our access to your Facebook data, but does not automatically delete data already stored. Please also send an email request for complete deletion.

Processing Time

We process data deletion requests within:

  • Standard Requests: Within 30 days of receipt
  • Urgent Requests: Within 7 business days (please mark as urgent in your email)

You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

What Happens After Deletion

  • Your account and all personal information will be permanently deleted from our database
  • Your Instagram verification status will be removed
  • You will no longer appear as a verified MFU student
  • You can create a new account in the future if needed

Note: Some anonymized data may be retained for legal compliance, security purposes, or fraud prevention as described in our Privacy Policy.
